It doesn't tell us whether it's better than OSRS, which can be just as compelling. By that standard, any game that eats your evenings wins, and OSRS qualifies. So let me offer a better test: which game respects the choices you make? In OSRS, nearly everything you do matters for a long time. A rare drop, a hard-earned level, or a piece of gear carries weight because the economy is player-driven and progression isn't handed out on a fixed schedule. You can pick your own goal, whether that's a quest cape, a boss grind, or a skiller who never fights, and the game treats each as legitimate. WoW's strength is polish and spectacle, but its structure tends to point you toward the current endgame loop, and yesterday's content gets steamrolled. Now a fair question for you: if you haven't played WoW, and presumably haven't played OSRS either, on what grounds can you say it's better? Try it for a week. I'd bet the part you remember won't be the bathroom line. OSRS is better because freedom plus lasting stakes beats a treadmill with nicer graphics.
